Chloé Kelly Miller is a French contemporary artist born in Rouen in 1995. She grew up between Marseille and Rouen before moving to Paris, where she developed her artistic career. Initially trained in clinical psychology, in which she graduated in 2019, she has always been drawn to the depths of the unconscious and the human psyche. While pursuing her studies and research, which she carried on until 2020 with the intention of writing a thesis, she gradually began to express herself through painting and other mediums, eventually making art her primary language of exploration.
Her practice is diverse and multidisciplinary, ranging from acrylic painting and photography to graffiti, aerosol, oil pastels, sculpture, poetry and scenography. At the heart of her work lies the portrait, which she uses as a gateway to explore identity, corporeality, unconscious drives and the relationship to others. Her process is often spontaneous and instinctive, marked by energetic brushstrokes and vivid colors layered over dark backgrounds, evoking both eruption and introspection. This duality reflects her interest in the forces that shape human experience — repression, emotion, desire, and memory.
Sea Voices
For her latest journey to Thailand, Chloé Kelly Miller brings her paints and inspiration to the sun-kissed shores of Phuket, setting up at the enchanting Phuket Panwa Beach Resort. Guided by a deep and growing love for Thai culture, the artist dives into the theme of the ocean and its hidden depths in a dazzling new exhibition. “Sea Voices” is a joyful symphony of twenty paintings, alive with vibrant colors and fluid forms that celebrate the beauty and mystery of nature.
Chloé Kelly Miller’s artistic universe offers a poetic dialogue between the elements—water, fire, earth, and air—while weaving an elegant bridge between French and Thai cultures, inspired by the luminous hues, traditions, and soul of Phuket.
To accompany this visual journey, the artist will also collaborate with the talented Chef Nok of Tamarind restaurant for a unique four-hands culinary experience. Together, they’ll craft an ocean-inspired dinner that invites guests to travel through time, guided by the ever-changing path of the sun across the sky—a feast for the senses and the imagination.
