Headache Stencil
Bangkok Street Artist and Activist

Headache Stencil is a pioneering Thai street artist whose politically charged stencils and large-scale murals have transformed Bangkok's visual landscape. Dubbed "Thailand's Banksy" by international media, he has emerged as one of Southeast Asia's most fearless voices in contemporary art.

The name itself is a declaration: "I want to give some people a headache". His work is direct, unapologetic, and impossible to ignore.

For over ten years, Headache Stencil has served as Bangkok's unflinching conscience. His satirical graffiti depicting military officials, corrupt politicians, and social injustices combines sharp commentary with master precision.

"My art reflects dictatorship, corruption and the loss of freedom in our society. It's the artist's most important role to mirror society's illnesses," he stated. His stencils have gone viral repeatedly, capturing public anger over political scandals and abuse of power.

His practice carries real danger. Headache Stencil has faced prosecution under Thailand's Computer Crimes Act and sedition laws—charges carrying decades of imprisonment. Authorities have repeatedly whitewashed his murals and hunted him for works addressing corruption by the powerful.

Headache Stencil's practice celebrates street art as both ephemeral public action and enduring cultural artifact. His collectible works on canvas, limited-edition objects, and collaborations bridge urban subculture and the global art market.
